This Privacy Policy describes how TW Communication Co., Ltd. (“TW Communication,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use Kakkorb, including the Kakkorb mobile application, kakkorb.com, the business portal at app.kakkorb.com, and related services (together, the “Services”).

Kakkorb is a business inventory management product. It is intended for business users (owners, managers, and warehouse staff), not for children.

If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Services.

01Who we are

Company
TW Communication Co., Ltd
Product
Kakkorb

You can contact us at support@kakkorb.com for privacy questions, data access, correction, or deletion.

02Information we collect

We collect information that you provide, information created when you use the Services, and limited technical information needed to operate the app.

Account and profile

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Password (stored by our authentication provider in hashed form; we do not store your password in plain text)
  • Phone number
  • Role (owner, manager, or warehouse staff)
  • Account status (for example, active or inactive)

Accounts are created when a business is onboarded or when a team member is invited. You can sign in with email and password.

Business information

  • Business name and type
  • Business phone and email
  • Location as text (for example, city or address you type in). We do not collect GPS or precise device location.
  • Subscription tier (Free or Pro)

Inventory and operational data

  • Product names, categories, codes, descriptions, barcodes/SKUs, prices, and stock quantities
  • Product photos you upload
  • Stock-in and stock-out records, including optional notes and who performed the action
  • Activity logs related to your business account

Kakkorb is not a customer CRM. We do not maintain a directory of your shoppers. If you type a customer name or other personal details into a stock note or product field, that text is stored as part of your business data.

Device permissions and media

With your permission, the mobile app may access:

  • Camera — barcode scanning and product photos
  • Photo library / files — choosing product images

We do not access your contacts, microphone, or device location.

Information stored on your device

  • Login session (so you stay signed in)
  • Language preference (English or Khmer)
  • Whether you have seen the intro screens

We do not currently collect

  • Advertising identifiers
  • Precise location
  • Payment card numbers inside the app (Pro plans are arranged outside the app; we do not process card payments in Kakkorb)
  • Third-party analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs in the mobile app
  • Push-notification tokens (in-app alerts are shown inside the app, not as system push notifications)

If we add features such as Telegram alerts, in-app payments, or analytics, we will update this Policy.

03How we use information

We use information to:

  • Create and manage accounts and team roles
  • Provide inventory tracking, barcode scanning, reports, and low-stock alerts
  • Store and display product catalogs and images for your business
  • Let authorized teammates collaborate on the same business
  • Provide customer support and respond to requests
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and operate, host, and improve the Services
  • Enforce plan limits (for example, product count on the Free plan)
  • Comply with law and protect our rights

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not use your data for third-party advertising.

We do not show ads in the app.

04How we share information

We share information only as needed to run Kakkorb:

Your team

Users in the same business may see teammate names, emails, phone numbers, and shared inventory data, according to their role.

Our staff

Authorized staff at TW Communication may access business and account data to onboard businesses, provide support, and administer the platform (including the admin tools at ctrl.kakkorb.com).

Service providers

We use trusted processors who handle data on our instructions, including:

  • Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage
  • Hosting, CDN, and app-update providers (for example, servers, domain/DNS, and Expo over-the-air updates)

These providers may process data outside Cambodia.

Legal and safety

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect users, the public, or TW Communication.

Business transfers

If we merge, sell, or reorganize the company, information may transfer as part of that transaction, still subject to this Policy.

Product images

Product photos are stored so they can be displayed in the app and related dashboards. Treat product images as business content you choose to upload; do not upload photos you are not allowed to use.

We do not share your information with data brokers or ad networks.

05Data retention

We keep account, business, and inventory data for as long as your account or business remains active and as needed to provide the Services.

If you ask us to delete an account or business, we will delete or anonymize personal data associated with it, except where we must keep records for legal, security, dispute, or accounting reasons, or backups that are later overwritten.

Data stored only on your device (language preference, session) is removed when you uninstall the app or sign out, as applicable.

06Security

We use industry-standard measures appropriate to a cloud business app, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and authentication. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please use a strong password and do not share login credentials.

07Your choices and rights

You may:

  • View and update your name, email, and phone number in the app
  • Change your password in the app
  • Ask teammates with permission to edit or delete products and stock records
  • Request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by emailing support@kakkorb.com

Account deletion

The mobile app does not currently offer a self-serve “delete my account” button for every role.

To delete your user account, or to request deletion of a business and its inventory data, email support@kakkorb.com from the email address on the account. Tell us whether you want:

  • only your user account removed, or
  • the entire business workspace (products, images, stock history, and team accounts) removed

We will verify the request with an authorized person (typically the business owner) and complete deletion within a reasonable period, usually 30 days, unless law requires us to retain certain records.

Team members with permission can remove other staff accounts from the business. Owner accounts are handled through our support or admin process.

App permissions

You can revoke camera or photo access in your device settings. Some features (barcode scan, product photos) will not work without those permissions.

08Children

Kakkorb is a business tool. It is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact support@kakkorb.com and we will delete it.

09International processing

Kakkorb is offered primarily to businesses in Cambodia. Your information may be stored and processed in other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws than Cambodia.

11Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on https://kakkorb.com/privacy and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Services after the update means you accept the revised Policy.
